Edward is Editorial Director at the DPP, the international network for media and technology. Formed in 2015 the DPP has over 500 member companies representing the whole media supply chain – including global tech giants and the world’s biggest broadcasters, and from media technology vendors to production companies.

As Editorial Director Edward produces industry research and strategic insight, and facilitates events and workshops that help enable DPP members to tackle some of the biggest technology and business challenges in media, broadcasting and entertainment.

Edward was a technology and business journalist for 15 years. As a former Editor of CIO magazine, Edward engages regularly with Chief Technology Officers, Chief Information Officers, digital leaders and IT executives to discuss C-suite challenges, industry trends and disruptive threats.

He was also previously Technology Editor at New Statesman Media Group, and Special Projects Editor for its dedicated business and technology title, Tech Monitor, where he had a particular interest covering digital strategy, technology leadership, the implementation of disruptive emerging innovations, and the broader impact of technology on business, culture and society.
