Since 2012 he has been director of BU Video and Broadcasting of Eutelsat.

Again for Eutelsat, he was Director of Value Added Video Services and president of HD Forum Italia for the two-year period 2009-2011.

In 1989 he joined the Research Center of the Italian Radio and Television (RAI), where he worked on projects for the development and standardization of DVB-S and DVB-T systems.

In 1998 he joined Eutelsat, with the task of implementing the “TESEUS” system for the automatic monitoring of television traffic on the Company’s satellites. Most recently he assumed the role of supervisor for customer technical support in the video applications industry.

He is a member of the French HDTV Forum, within which he chairs the working group “on contributions to High Definition Television”, and is also a member of the N-HD/NET working group for “High Definition in networks” of the Technical Department of the EBU – the Association of European Television Broadcasters.
